This is absolutely my new favorite Central Texas Cajun and creole food restaurant! Don't be fooled by the locations small size in Union Park. This place packs a punch! The portions are large, fresh and packed full of flavor. The man that runs this location has impeccable customer service skills and was going above and beyond for us. If you want some delectable Creole flavor in your day you would be missing out to not make this spot your new favorite location! We ordered the loaded seafood bayou potato and a second one with the potato supplemented with rice. Both were amazing! And don't miss out on their Cajun toast. Yum!!!

You ever taste food so good it makes you kinda dance and jiggle in your seat? That's what my wife did when she took her first bite. Great food priced right, large portions, friendly service (looks like a family business), and very clean. Try the seafood stuffed baked potato. We will be back!

I had fried fish, shrimp, hush puppies, and the Hu Dat Pasta! It was all very good! Pasta sauce seemed homemade and was to die for! Lots of yummy looking things on the menu that I can't wait to try. Service was excellent and friendly! It's refreshing to see young people trying hard!

There is nothing else like PeeWee’s in town. Every dish I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating is super hot, fresh and full of flavor. Legit Louisiana Cajun food is what you’ll find! I love taking new friends to eat here and seeing their faces light up when they realize how good it is! 10/10 recommend!!

This was my first time eating at Armstrongs Bayou Cafe. The young man working the front counter, London, was very sweet and polite. I told him I had a peanut allergy and asked "what type of oil do you use?" He kindly asked the owner and then replied, "soybean oil." I said ok. I ordered the Seafood Basket, which came with catfish, fried shrimp, fries and hush puppies. I also ordered Boudin egg rolls. When I got my food, let me say this, IT WAS HOT!!!!!. Like food should be. Not like other places that take your money and sneakily give you luke warm or cold food. Not this place. The fish was fried perfectly, well seasoned and flaky. The shrimp was delicious and the boudin eggroll was also tasty. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Will I go back? Yes and I will bring my friends. Good food, great service and a pleasant experience.

Our food was so good! SO GOOD!! We ordered to go the shrimp stuffed potato, boudin eggrolls, and build a bag with spicy lemon pepper. Our order was made promptly, the server was friendly, and the kitchen looked clean. We are from out of town, so this was our first time eating Armstrong’s, but it will definitely not be our last. I don’t leave reviews for places, but I had to because our food was that good. Highly recommend!

I ordered the seafood potato and my boyfriend ordered the blackened pasta. The food was top-tier for my first time trying this cuisine. I am very glad I chose this place; the seafood is cooked to perfection.
